After the first sample was unveiled at the last Sound Messe, we received many inquiries about the strap's release, and now it's finally on sale.
[Design Description] "SUPER NOVA" is based on the cool, classic style of British rock. It really shines when held with a large-bodied guitar such as a semi-acoustic or full-acoustic guitar. This model was developed with the cooperation of Yuya Komoguchi.
"ROCKS" is based on the slim style that has been loved since the 1950s, the era when rock music was born. The original buckle, which pays homage to the vintage buckles of that time, has been aged to create a texture that is particular to every detail. This model was developed in cooperation with Akito Kuroda.
Guitars and basses were perfected around the 1950s and continue to be used to this day. Straps, which have been a part of the industry for a long time, are surprisingly simple and few remain in good condition, even though they look great. With respect for these iconic masterpieces, we have actively incorporated new techniques and processing technologies, and have attempted to reconstruct them, paying particular attention to the manufacturing of metal parts such as buckles.
Of course, the leather used is genuine. The thick shoulder strap, which combines softness and strength, is made from original vegetable-tanned leather that is soaked for a long period in a huge pool of vegetable tannins called a pit layer. Then, skilled craftsmen add a glossy finish and suppleness that resembles years of use, expressing the utmost respect for the classic.
[About colors] Both "SUPER NOVA" and "ROCKS" are available in four colors: black, brown, blue, and red.
